Hours of Operation

Adoptions, Intakes, & Meeting dogs by Appointment Only! Please Call to Schedule 
 If we are unable to answer please leave a message or send a text.  We are just a few volunteers running a rescue while also working. We get a large number of calls and emails please allow up to 24 hours for a reply. We have a Facebook page but do not check messages daily. For urgent matters please call or email and let us know via voicemail, text, or in the subject of the email.

Monday:  8am-8pm

Tuesday: 8am-8pm

Wednesday: Noon-8pm

Thursday: 3pm-8pm

Friday: 3pm-8pm

Saturday: 8am to 8pm

Physical Address:

BTTR does not have a shelter building you can visit and see all the dogs we have for adoption. Our dogs are housed at boarding kennels and a few foster homes across Hampton Roads. Please call to set up a meet and greet ( these are usually done in Norfolk or Chesapeake depending on the dog).
